What Up Peeps!!!
Poem Background:This poem is about me finding out and learning from my Dad, that there's music everywhere!!! I had written this poem when I was in the 8th grade!!! So, BARE WITH ME, Peeps!!! LOL!! In this poem, I give you a hint of what I wanted to be when I get older!! Now, that I look back on it, to this day, I still want to fulfill that dream!!! So, here's my poem, Music Everywhere, where you'll hear the unfolded truth when I was in the 8th grade!!! Enjoy!!

Music Everywhere
Today, my dad told me that music
is everywhere.
It's made everywhere.
For examples;
Water dripping,
Wind blowing,
Pots and pans banging,
Doors slamming,
And those are just a few.
I've been think'n about it all day
today.
Somethin's tellin me that that advice
dad told me,
is gonna be with me for the rest of
my life.
It's like a message to my life.
I've been think'n 'bout it long and hard.
Do you think my music career will
strive on?
I could be.....
famous one day for my musical
talent.
I think I am gonna strive to be
famous.
Wouldn't it be cool?
I'd meet Stevie Wonder,
Alicia Keys,
Beyonce,
India Arie,
and even Sanjaya: I'm madly in Luv w/
him!!
But, until then.....
I gotta do the basics.
I'm gonna stick with playing the
trombone.
And maybe,
even go into singing.
Until then, I'm gonna lay low.
Then I'll become famous.

So, what are you're thoughts from this poem?! I think, after writing it, that I really did {and still do} want to prove to people out there, that I WILL be famous!! I have something to prove to people, and I'm not afraid to show it!! This was also the time when I had a HUGE crush on Sanjaya, by the way!! LOL!! This is also a great poem to show that you learn something new everyday!!! And some things you learn, may stick with you for the rest of your life!!!
Oh!!! Peeps, before I go, I must tell you this: School Football season is already here!!! And {groan} I have to perform on some of those football games!!! So, if you don't hear from me on a Saturday, just know that you'll hear from me on a Sunday, or possibly a weekday!!! (I will be having SOME Saturday rehearsals and Competitions at Marching Band!!) So, don't think that I've forgotten about you, Peeps!!! Because I most definitely didn't!! Well, I best be going now!!!
