The Lies.....The Sneaking....The Affair......

What Up Peeps!!!

Well, remember when I told you that my dad had came back and I thought that my family would be back to normal?! That everything would be the same?! Well....NOT QUITE!!!! In fact, since my dad had came back, things has gotten even WORSE!!! And, this time, it's not my dad's fault.......

Lately, my parents have been acting "strange" towards each other!!! Whenever my mom had called from work, Dad would get ME to get the phone!!! And whenever she wanted to talk to him...he refused to talk. Which made me stuck in the middle because I had to tell Mom that he was "asleep" or "busy". And, of course, I'm BAD at lying. So, it made phone conversations very awkward. And every time I heard mom and dad talking, it was either business-like, or they were arguing!!! Come to think of it, I've never heard my mom and dad say, "I love you" in a while. But, soon to come, my dad told me why they were acting this way.....

The reason?! My mom has been "seeing" this guy from her work. (Not naming names!!!) And when I'm saying, "seeing", Peeps, I mean "seeing"!!! She has went on, so you say, "Dates" with this guy!!! Now when Dad was telling me this, my mind went NUTS!!! My eyes were blurred with vision...and I was confused!!! This is NOT what a 15 year old girl, who wants a boyfriend sooo bad, wants to hear!!! Not at all!!! So, I took this seriously!!! I was in complete SHOCK!!! My Mom...CHEATING?! I couldn't believe it!!! This wasn't even like her!!! But, then there was a twist in this story.....

What was the twist?! My mom's so-called "Boyfriend", has a FIANCE and didn't even tell my mom at all!!! So, this so-called "plan" had back-fired on my mom!!! It was just getting worse and even MORE worse!!! And now, my mom's so-called "Boyfriend's" Fiance is ticked off, which, I would be, too, if I were her!!! And now, they are trying to bring my dad into this whole fiasco!!! To tell you the truth, I feel sooo bad for my dad!!! If I were him...I'd be CRUSHED!!! But, instead, my dad just LAUGHED it off in front of me!!! Which makes me even MORE sad because I think that's just a cover-up from crying about this whole situation!!!

So, how long has this been going on?! Since my mom had "invited" my dad to come back!!! I know, Peeps, it's hard to believe that this is happening to me!!! I had asked my dad on how he had felt about this!! He said that he wasn't going to leave the house again!!! He loves me, Hanifa, and Jabari!!! And nothing was going to change that!!! He said that he had to come back!!! He didn't want mom's "Boyfriend" to be our new Daddy!!! When he said this, I nearly cried!!! He lived and breathed for us!!! HIS CHILDREN!!! We are the ones that are keeping him smiling everyday!!! We are the ones that he will never stay away from!!! At that very moment, I understood what being a parent had meant.....

Life.....Unpredictable in soo many ways!!! You had your bad days...and your good days!!! Sometimes, you feel like your life is the WORST life ever....sometimes, you feel like your the luckiest person in the world!!! But, what I have learned is that FAMILY IS IMPORTANT!!! Sure, you'll hear teenagers say, "I can't wait until I'm 18...so that way I won't be in this house anymore!!!" But, we all know, even the teenagers, that we'll miss our family dearly!!! No matter what!!! And, when the time does come...we don't want to leave!!! So now, our family has changed!!! We don't go shopping ALL TOGETHER like we used to!!! We don't ALL ATTEND to family nights like we used to!!! Everything has changed...and it's quite unfortunate!!!

One thing I have known, is that NO MATTER WHAT, my parents will be there for me when I need them the most!!! And that's what I'm thankful for!!! So, now, I guess, Mom and her so-called "Boyfriend" aren't talking to each other!!! (I'm not sure) And now, mom and dad talk about that subject in a low profile!!! So, that's all I know Peeps!!! But, I do ponder on this, now that I'm getting older: Will my future boyfriend or husband cheat on me?! Will/Would we break up or have a divorce?! I surly do hope not!!! Because I will love my mate dearly!!! And, I will not cheat on him!!! (THAT'S FOR SURE!!!) Well, Peeps, I hope you've learned something from me, because that's what I'm here for!!! Be thankful for what you have!!! You never know what you got, until it's gone!!!

Poem Background:This poem is called Play'n Solo. I had wrote this poem when I was in the 8th grade!! Play'n Solo is about me having an opening spot to play a solo in Band!!! I was incredibly happy.....but, yet, scared out of my mind!!! I love to be the center of attention, don't get me wrong!!! But at the same time, I am incredibly shy as well!!! A Surreal Blur.....

What Up Peeps,

First off, I would like to wish my baby brother, Jabari, a Happy 3rd Birthday!!! His birthday was this past Wednesday!!! To celebrate, just yesterday, we went to a place called Amazing Jake's: Food & Fun!! Let me tell ya, Peeps, their buffet was AMAZING!!! Especially their pizza!!! It was delightful!!! And Jabari had a lot of fun as well!!! He had actually went on a carousel with my dad!!! (There's rides there as well!!) Of course, I didn't want to go on ANY ride!!! Between you and me, Peeps, I'm scared to go on roller coasters!!! Even the little baby roller coasters get me a little queasy!!! If you put me on a roller coaster, I will SCREAM AND YELL like Freddy Kroeger or Jason is chasing me!!! Seriously!! But, anyway, "Happy 3rd Birthday, Jabari!! Welcome to another year in this world!!!"

O.K Peeps!! So, the first day at North Canyon High School, was a blur....a surreal blur!!! First off, this school starts 10 MINUTES before Shadow Mountain High School, and yet, ENDS at the same time as Shadow Mountain High School!!! {Chuckle} So, basically, I'm staying in school for 10 EXTRA MINUTES!!! I like to learn as much as the next person, but, 10 Minutes can feel like a long time!!! Another thing I have noticed is that, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have Marching Band Practice from 6:30p.m-9:00p.m!!! (These are on school nights, may I mind you!!!) And, just this past Tuesday, I had gotten my Marching Baritone, and two, count 'em, two trombones!!! (One for home, and one for school!!) When I was trying to hold up my Marching Baritone on Tuesday, while outside, it was HEAVY!!! I know I had played a Marching Baritone last year....but, I don't remember it being THAT HEAVY!!! Which is making me nervous!!! Do I have enough stamina to pull this off?! I don't know!!! We'll see!!

On a positive note, this school has WAY MORE FREEDOM than Shadow Mountain High School!!! At North Canyon High School, you can go on YOUTUBE, check your e-mail, eat in the hallways or in classrooms, talk loud in the library, eat/drink in the library, and have 7 MINUTES PER PASSING PERIOD!!! (You can't do any of these at Shadow Mountain High school!!) When I told my sister, Hanifa, this, she was {playfully} upset!! She only has 3 MINUTES for her passing period time!!! The only bad news about this "Freedom" here at North Canyon High School, is that we only have 30 Minutes for LUNCH!!! And trust me, Peeps, 30 minutes is NOT long at all!!! It takes you about 10 minutes just to go freshen up in the bathroom, and another 10 minutes to get your food and call a friend/family member!!! See, 20 minutes has already past, and now you have10 minutes to eat your lunch!!! See how fast lunch period seems to come and go?! In Shadow Mountain High School, I think they had about 40-50 MINUTES for lunch period time!!! I know, unfair right?! But, in a sense, it is fair!!! Look at all of the "Freedom " North Canyon High School gets and compare that to Shadow Mountain High School!!! See, what I mean?!

I must admit, Peeps, that I did get lost on the first day of school!!! Not "Lost-Lost"...just "Lost"!!! (If you know what I mean!! I was close to my destination, just not close enough!!) During lunch this whole entire week, besides Friday, I sat by myself and ate my lunch while listening to the songs on my cell phone!! {Sigh} I know, sad right?! So far, I don't have a best friend like I did last year!!! I have a couple a friends in Marching Band/Band class, but, they've all got friends to hang out with during lunch!!! But, as of right now, I don't have a BFF where I can share my secrets to, or even say, "Oooo...that guy is cute!!" to. But, that's o.k...I guess!!! I also don't see any guys that I would be interested in, yet either!! I haven't seen any guy that would look like, or even remind me of Ben Barnes!! But, I guess that's o.k too!! Besides, Ben Barnes is the love of my life!!! He is my true love as of right now!! I just don't see myself liking another guy as of right now!!! But, I have seen this one particular guy, not naming names, {I don't even know his name!!} in several of my classes, and let me tell you, Peeps, this guy, from the SIDE, looks JUST LIKE Joe Jonas!!! I kid you not, Peeps!!! But only from the side!!! Every time I see him, I kinda have a smirk on my face because I keep thinking that he's Joe Jonas!!! LOL!!! He has the same bushy eyebrows and face structure as Joe Jonas!! Again, ONLY FROM THE SIDE, he looks like Joe Jonas!!! And his hairstyle is just like Joe Jonas too!! But, anyway, I guess I don't mind that I have no crush on any guy from this school yet!!

My main focus, this year, is on my school work!!! No drama, no fussing....just school work!!! All of my teachers are really nice in this school!!! I do have one STRICT teacher, but, he's pretty cool!! As of right now, here's my schedule of classes I have:

• Honors World History/Geographic 1
• Honors English 3
• Concert Band 1
• Honors Chemistry 1
• Lunch 1-2
• Honors Algebra 3
• IB Spanish 3
• Marching Band

These classes are all in order besides Marching Band!! I only have that on Tuesday and Thursday nights!! I know, right?! I'm a busy woman!!! LOL!! Believe me, Peeps, on Wednesday, I couldn't wait for the weekend!! After Marching Band practice, all I want to do is go to sleep!!! So, overall, this week has been a surreal blur!!! Which only makes me curious about how the rest of the school year is going to go!!!

New School. New Kid. New Classes. New Rules. Am I ready for school?! NO!!!!

What Up Peeps!!!

To start this entry right, I would like for us to give a moment of silence to Bernie Mac!! I had gotten a text this morning that said that he had passed away just this morning!!! Weird thing is, me and my sister had just watched Bernie Mac's show just last night!! So, let's give a moment of silence to Bernie Mac to pay our respects to him........

To all of my Peeps out there who did not know this: I am going to a NEW SCHOOL this year!! So, instead of going to Shadow Mountain High School, I am going to North Canyon High School!!! And let me tell you Peeps, I am FREAKING OUT!!! Once again, I am going to be the NEW KID!! Peeps, I gotta tell you, when it comes down to meeting new people, I tend to get really nervous!!! And, when I say, 'really nervous', I do mean REALLY NERVOUS!!! My hands start to sweat, my heart rate thumps 10x faster than normally, my throat AND mouth gets really dry, it's hard for me to make eye contact, and between you and me: My deodorant can't even stand a chance when I get nervous!! So, basically, I have Nervous Breakdowns!!

I know, right?! Talk about embarrassing!!! And, on top of all of that, I signed up for ALL Honors classes, and Marching Band/Band!! (Just like last year!!) So, I have a lot on my plate right now!!! And it's making me nervous!!! If you asked me if I was ready to go back to school, I am (and will) say, "No!!" Plus, this will be a new school to me!!! With new rules, a new campus area, and people who I don't even know!!! And on top of it all, it's a BIG school!!! It's soo big, they even have a 2nd floor for the school!!! (It has stairs!!! Go figure!!) Which means a better chance for me to get LOST!! And with only 1 more day until I go back to school, it only makes the stress level even higher!!! (I will be going back to school on August 11th!! A Monday....Great!!! Hint: sarcasm there!!)

Ha!! You'd think that I'd get used to being a new kid and going to a new school....but, no!!! I'm just that type of person who gets nervous over EVERY LITTLE THING!! A test, a competition, meeting a new person, even getting up in the middle of class to just get a tissue!!! That's just how I am!!! Which is why I know I can be a great friend to everyone else!! Including you, Peeps!!! You know, I can tell you anything, and, you pretty much understand me!!! Which is cool, because I know you have my back!!! All I got to say, Peeps, is that there's going to be a scared Sophomore going into North Canyon High School!! (Me, of course!!) So, North Canyon High School, Here I come!!!

The End of Summer Competition, Songs, and One of My Favorite Shows!!!!

What up Peeps!!!

Like I had promised, we did find out who won Legally Blond: The Search of Elle Woods!!! Congratulations to Bailey Hanks!!! "I am incredibly happy for you, Bailey!!!" On July 21st, it was between Autumn Hulbert and Bailey Hanks to compete with each other to see who would be the next Elle Woods!!! Along the way, the competitors got a chance to see their parents before and after their performances!!! Not too long after that, it was decided for Bailey Hanks to be the next Elle Woods!!! I gotta tell you peeps, I ALMOST cryed when they announced that Bailey Hanks had won the competition!!! I was sooo happy for her!!! "I wish you the best of luck on Broadway, Bailey!!!"

As The Secret Life of the American Teenager is progressing, the secret of Amy being pregnant is spreading around her school like wildfire!!! It's to the point where even Ben's DAD is even getting suspicious!! After Ben's Dad had a talk with Ben, Ben had decided to take action!!! He and Amy went on a picnic together, and Ben made Amy's favorite food!!! (Awwww...how sweet is he?!) After they made a toast,(with Ginger Ale, of course!!) Ben popped the BIG QUESTION!!! He had asked Amy to marry him!!! Amy was taken aback and then started to cry!!! She then kept saying, "You know?!" Ben finally had said yes...that his father had gotten suspicious about it!!! Amy then confesses to Ben that it's Ricky's baby...and she didn't know what to do!!! As of right now, Ben is trying to convince Amy to tell her parents!!! Speaking of Amy's parents, Amy's dad, George, is going to Las Vegas for a while because Amy's mother, Anne is suspecting that George is cheating on her!!! Come to find out, George IS cheating on Anne!!! But, guess, just guess, who's he's been secretly seeing?! ADRIAN'S MOTHER!!! Yeah..talk about your typical cheater!!! (Ugh...that makes me SICK!!) Speaking of Adrian's mother, she is going away, ALSO,for a couple of days to meet George!!! (Typical!!)She had told Adrian the whole story and had given her some money for food and etc. As this is all happening, Jack is with Adrian, not knowing what was going on!! He and Adrian agree to "Pretend" that they are going out so that way, for Jack, it can make Grace jealous, and for Adrian, it can make Ricky jealous!!! Ricky is now receiving news that he got a girl pregnant!! I'm not sure whether or not he knows who the girl is yet!!! Ricky is taken aback and is now talking with his trusted guidance counselor for advice!! Grace is starting to trust Ricky more and more...and making Jack the enemy!!! Jack then explodes and says that his either grandfather or great grandfather (Sorry!! I can't remember that part too well!!) told Jack to go out with Grace just to make her family happy!!! (OUCH!!) Grace is taken aback by this!!! Then, Jack tells Grace to ask Ricky if he got a girl pregnant!! That makes Grace confused, and mad all at once!!! Meanwhile, Amy's friends, especially Lauren,(I think that's her name!) from Bernie Mac, is trying really hard to convince Amy to tell her mom!!! As of right now, Amy doesn't want this baby!!! She wants an ABORTION!!! Ben's counselor is telling Ben to CONVINCE Amy to talk to her parents about her pregnancy!!! So, a lot has happened in just one episode, right?! If you've missed some episodes from this series, DON'T WORRY!!! There will be a marathon of The Secret Life of the American Teenager on Tuesday at 3/2c on abc family!!

What Up Peeps!!!

As each day is going past, I have noticed that my feelings toward BEN BARNES has escalated toward the roof!!! No, Peeps!!! I am serious!!! For some reason, I find myself categorized as Obsessed with Ben Barnes!!! But, I know I'm not!!! Right, Peeps?! I mean, it's hard being a teenager and not controlling your feelings!!! You know, not KNOWING what your feeling!!! I guess what I'm trying to say is: Being a teenager is probably the most confusing time in Anyone's life!!! Am I at least right about that Peeps?!

Well, as I was saying about Ben Barnes!!! It's weird, you know?! Every time I SEE Ben Barnes, my heart melts!!! Every time I THINK about Ben Barnes, I get all giddy inside!!! Every time I HEAR the name Ben, I jump up....immediately thinking that someone was talking about the topic of Ben Barnes!!! I mean, hear me out Peeps! Is it just me, or do I sound Obsessive!!!? Just this past week, I had begged my mom to help me order a poster of Prince Caspian online!!! (I couldn't find it in Wal-Mart, nor Best Buy, and Barnes and Noble!!!) And I like to happily say that she had finally ordered the poster for me on Thursday!!! So, I should be getting the poster within about a week!!! (Yay!!!) And while I was at Wal-Mart, I found the BOOK:The Chronicles of Narnia:Prince Caspian!!! So, you KNOW I just had to get it!!!! (It had some pictures of some scenes in the movie!) And, just about a month ago, I had BOUGHT THE SOUNDTRACK TO:The Chronicles of Narnia:Prince Caspian!!!

Over a couple of days ago, I had made a PLAN to buy EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that had to deal with Ben Barnes!!!! And, I am going to be WATCHING every movie Ben Barnes is going to be in!!! Like the movie: Easy Virtue!!! (which is coming out in November) And the movie: The Picture of Dorian Gray (which is coming out real soon) I guess what you can say is: I am One of Ben Barnes BIGGEST FANS!!! I am a BEN-FANATIC!!!! I LOVE BEN BARNES!!! There, I said it!!! I LOVE Ben Barnes!!!! This is NOOO Kindergarten Crush I have for Ben Barnes!!! What-So-Ever!!!! This is Serious!!! This is Mad-Love I have for Ben Barnes!!!! And I wish and pray to Allah [God] that I get a chance to MEET Ben Barnes!!! And even have his autograph!!!! *Sigh* That would be a blessing!!! Even though I'm not OLD ENOUGH to even as soo much to date Ben Barnes, I do wish that I can meet him face-to-face!!! Even that would just satisfy me enough!!!

Have you guys ever heard of the song, "I Love Ur Girl"? Well, if you haven't, the song is by The Dream!!! I LOVE this song!! In fact, it is one of my Top 5 Favorite Songs!!! Although this song is talking about a guy liking his friend's girlfriend, and wanting to steal her away from his friend, it is totally killer!!! It has a killer beat to it that can make you want to dance-even for people who CAN'T DANCE!! Like, let's say...ME!!! LOL!!! It is the type of song that you can sing in the shower, it's that good!!! I know, right?! Me, liking Hip-Hop?! But, this song reminds me of a SPECIAL person, who I'm not going to say who it is!!! O.K, O.K, O.K.........it is Ben Barnes!!! LOL!!! I don't know what it is, but this song just reminds me of Ben Barnes!!! Well, just this morning, The Dream's "I love Ur Girl", had hit #1 on the TRL Hip-Hop Countdown !!! I am sooooooo excited for The Dream!! And I would like to wish The Dream good luck on any up-coming performances!!!

Have you guys seen the series The Secret Life of The American Teenager, yet?! Well, if you haven't, here's the scoop on what happened this week!!! Well, as the weeks are getting longer, Ben(Amy's boyfriend) is having stronger feelings for Amy!!! The sad part about it, is that Ben doesn't know that Amy is pregnant!!! But, Amy's not going to tell him.....at least not right now!! Alongside with trying to keep this a secret, Amy's doctor already knows that Amy is pregnant!!! But, Amy's doctor didn't tell Amy's mother.(played by Molly Ringwald) In fact, Amy's doctor wants Amy AND her mother to come into her office and DISCUSS Amy's pregnancy!!! But, Amy, as of right now, is trying to avoid her doctor as much as possible!!! Since Grace can't go out with Jack, Ricky(the guy who got Amy pregnant in Band Camp) offers Grace to "pretend" he's her boyfriend, to fool her parents!!! So, that way, when Grace and Ricky go out, Ricky will be the Choffer for Jack and Grace!!! So, basically, Grace is sneaking or lying to her parents and going out with Jack!!!(who, by the way, is a nice guy, but, he had kissed Adrian!! Ricky's girlfriend) When Ricky told Adrian this, she totally freaked out and was peeved off at Ricky!!! So, now Ricky and Adrian's relationship is pretty rocky right now!! Towards the end of the episode, Ashley (Amy's 13 year old sister who totally dresses like she's 25) stayed up until Amy's date with Ben at the Carnival was over!! She then had confronted Amy and had asked her if she was PREGNANT!!! Amy completely freaked out and was saying, "What?! Who told you that? Where did you hear that from?" But, Ashley said that Amy has been acting "Differently" lately!!! So, then Ashley asked Amy again if she was going to have a baby!!! And, Amy confessed, "YES"....So, it sounds interesting now, doesn't it?! Well, don't worry!!! It comes on every Tuesday at 8/7c on ABCfamily!!! Make sure you don't miss it!!!

What Up Peeps!!!

As I am growing older and wiser, I am starting to think about my future!!! When I was younger, I wanted to be a teacher, chef, ballerina, librarian, and even a talk show host!!! LOL!!! But now, I KNOW what I wanna be!!! I want to become a Singer!!! As this summer is progressing, I have noticed that I've been singing with the radio everyday!!! And, when I say "Everyday", I literally mean "EVERYDAY"!!!

Earlier, this past year, I had sang in front of a couple of friends in Honors Biology Class!! They really loved my voice!!! I mean, I hate to toot my own horn, but, I really do sing Fantastically!!! I've even been having fantasies about going to American Idol, singing in front of Randy, Paula, And Simon!!! And, of course, they all would love it!!!

I have also realized that I've been ADDICTED to my radio!!! Trying to find, hear, and sing my favorite songs!!! LOL!!! I'm telling you, singing is my LIFE!!! I don't know what I'd do without music!!! (Now that I've thought about it, I guess I'd write and sing my own songs!!! Which, I do ALREADY!!) I guess now you know why my URL is:
